What We Do
Events Edmonton is the producer of Taste of Edmonton, one of Canada’s largest outdoor food and FREE performance festivals. With a focus on enriching the lives of Alberta's capital region, Events Edmonton works to put on events that promote equity, diversity and inclusion. Events Edmonton is proud to support local artists and charities in our community.
Led by a talented volunteer Board of Directors, Events Edmonton employs 4 full time employees; General Manager, Accounting Manager, Operations Manager and Volunteer Manager. Employees work year round to develop and implement strategic plans for the Taste of Edmonton festival.
Events Edmonton provides opportunities for involvement, education, mentoring and development by hiring 15 seasonal employees to work alongside the management team.

Vision Statement: Events Edmonton will be well-known and highly respected throughout the Capital Region for producing a diverse menu of high-quality events that enrich life in the community and support important charities.

About Taste of Edmonton
Since 1984, Taste of Edmonton has grown to be known as the largest food festival in Western Canada and continues to flourish, empower and uplift individuals through food, performing arts, heritage and culture, an artisan market and exhibitors.
For eleven days, guests gather together to indulge in samples of delicious food and drinks from a diverse selection of local restaurant and food truck partners, experience local talent perform on the stage and shop some of the top local artisans in Edmonton.
The 41st edition of Taste of Edmonton will take place July 17 to 27, 2025. The festival’s opening ceremonies will be ignited by local Indigenous Elder (Cultural Advisor, Headman of the Alexis Nation), Lyndon Aginas, and municipal, provincial and federal leaders. Collectively, these prestigious guests offer their support and invitation to embrace Taste of Edmonton's diverse restaurant and food truck partners, FREE 10 day performance series showcasing local artist’s musical performances and local artisans featured at Night Of Artists and THE MARKET.
